The Owners of this West Hartford home were looking for a great room addition that would provide an open, modern great room space, while maintaining the charm of their traditional colonial. A cathedral ceiling, expanded gourmet kitchen and sliding doors to the reconfigured deck created the ideal space for both entertainment and family gathering. The new side porch entry and adjacent mudroom provided a practical solution to storing sports and school items for their family of five while enhancing curb appeal.
